Kendra McGeady
Kendra Sue McGeady has been director of Pelivan Transit and the Northeastern Tribal Transit Consortium since March 2016. As the director, Kendra is responsible for leading the transit team in providing safe, equitable and caring transit services, and working to form partnerships that build an effective transit system in the region with an emphasis on rural and tribal integration. Pelivan Transit offers traditional pre-book and on-demand services, and is lead agency for the PICK Transportation project which provides single branded afterhours transit with four partner agencies, and the Veterans Ride Connect project which provides free fare and discounted trips to veterans with six rural and tribal partners.
Kendra is serving a second term as national board member for the Community Transportation Association of America, serves as Board Chair for the Southwest Transit Association. She also was recently appointed to the Cherokee Nation Tribal Council where she represents District 11, the largest in the Cherokee Nation. Kendra resides in northeast Oklahoma, with her husband, Tom and three dogs, Maeve, Bennie and Fannie.
